Mid-Autumn Festival, also known Moon festival, falls on different date each year, according to the Chinese lunar year calendar.
Kingtronics will have a short holiday on both 24th of Sept and 25th.

The convention may differs between each countries, or even regions.
However, in general, people gather together with family and friends during the festival, to appreciate the bight moon.
Meanwhile, barbecue, eat moon cakes, and pomelos are part of the tradition.

A social drama tinged with black comedy, Dying to Survive premiered to rave reviews at the Shanghai International Film Festival in late June. It then hit the road on a promotional tour holding limited sneak-peek screenings in select cities across the country.

Produced by Chinese hitmaker Ning Hao, Dying to Survive tells the story of a shady health supplements supplier, played by comedy favorite Xu Zheng (Lost in Thailand), who smuggles unapproved drugs from India to sell to leukemia patients who can't afford the prohibitively expensive official medication offered by Chinese hospitals. Initially inspired by financial interest, the smuggler's motives evolve as he realizes how desperately his customers need help.

The film is based on the real-life story of Lu Yong, a textile trader who was diagnosed with leukemia and spent over $80,000 on official medication before turning to smuggling a vastly cheaper generic alternative from India. He went on to save more than 1,000 lives by bringing the drug into China for other patients, before he was arrested and charged in 2014 with selling fake drugs.

After news of Lu's saga spread, many in the local and international media began comparing him to the hero of Dallas Buyers Club, the 2013 Matthew McConaughey Oscar winner about a Texas man who sold unregulated AIDS drugs to help fellow HIV sufferers in the 1980s.

Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) is the most commonly used type of varistor. It is called so as the component is made from a mixture of zinc oxide and other metal oxides like cobalt, manganese and so on. When electrical current rises to a certain point, called the breakover point or breakover voltage, the tiny zinc oxide particles begin conducting the current among themselves only. This prevents the high-voltage current from passing into the rest of the surge protector or the devices plugged into it.

The global raw material supplies problem has sprawled from MLCC to trimming potentiometers and other series.

The problem is much more serious than our imagination.

The global semiconductor industry continues to deliver solid results, growing at more than 20 per cent a year for 13 consecutive months, despite double-digit annual growth in non-memory products in April due in part to strong growth in the memory market.

According to the semiconductor industry association (SIA), global semiconductor sales in April 2018 totaled $37.6 billion. April sales were up 1.4 per cent from the previous month. Sales are up 20.2% from a year ago.

So far this year, the global semiconductor industry has continued to deliver impressive results, with annual growth of more than 20 percent for 13 consecutive months, according to SIA President and CEO John Neuffer. Despite strong growth in the storage market, non-memory products posted double-digit annual growth in April, and all major regional markets saw double-digit annual growth. Semiconductor growth will be substantial this year and slow next year.

In April, sales in the Americas rose 34.1 percent, China 22.1 percent, Europe 21.4 percent, Japan 14.6 percent and Asia Pacific/other regions 10.2 percent, compared with the same period last year. China grew 3.2 per cent, Japan 2.7 per cent, Europe 1.4 per cent and the Americas 0.8 per cent. In Asia/elsewhere, however, the monthly decline was 0.8 per cent.

SIA endorses the global semiconductor sales outlook published by the world semiconductor trade statistics association (WSTS). The global semiconductor market is forecast to grow 12.4 percent to $463.4 billion this year, an all-time high, the WSTS said. But growth will fall to 4.4% next year.
