We hereby sincerely invite you and your company representatives to visit our booth 5G-C26 at HK Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 13th~16th.
NTC stands for “Negative Temperature Coefficient”. NKT NTC thermistors are resistors with a negative temperature coefficient, which means that the resistance decreases with increasing temperature. An NTC is commonly used as a temperature sensor, or in series with a circuit as an inrush current limiter. NKT NTC sensors are typically used in a range from −40°C to +200°C.
Kingtronics’s NKT Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistors are available in an array of designs to fit nearly any desired application. We created using the best high purity materials for reliable results you can count on and customizable to fully meet your needs.
Trimmer potentiometers and preset resistors are small variable resistors which are used in circuits for tuning and (re)calibration.
Types of Trimming Potentiometer
Several different versions of trimmer are available, using different mounting methods (through hole, smd) and adjusting orientations (top, side) as well as single and multi-turn variation.
1》Open, carbon track
2》Enclosed, side adjust
3》Enclosed, SMD
Single turn
Single turn trimmers/presets are very common and used where a resolution of one turn is sufficient. They are the most cost effective variable resistors available.
Multi turn
For higher adjustment resolutions, multi-turn Trimming Potentiometers are used. The amount of turns varies between roughly 5-25, but 5, 12 or 25 turns are quite common. They are often constructed using a worm-gear (rotary track) or (linear track) mechanism to achieve the high resolution. Because of their more complex construction and manufacturing, they are more costly than single turn preset resistors. The lead screw packages can have a higher power rating because of their increased surface area.
Trimming potentiometer symbols
The following IEC symbols are used for trimmers and preset resistors. Although this are the official symbols for occasionally adjusted resistors, the standard symbols for a potentiometer or rheostat are often used.
A typical surge arrester consists of disks made of zinc oxide material, sized in cross-sectional area to provide the desired energy discharge capability, and in axial length proportional to the voltage capability. These disks are placed in porcelain enclosures to provide physical support, aid in heat removal, and are sealed for protection from contamination in the electrical environment.
Kingtronics specializes in 2-Electrode Surge Arresters. We offer a wide variety of surge arresters to meet diverse electrical protection needs. For more information, please send your inquiry about our KT mark SKT-2R-230A2 surge arrester.

Kingtronics International Company was established in 1995 located in Dongguan City of China to handle all sales & marketing for factories located in Chengdu, Sichuan and Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China. In 1990, we established the first factory to produce trimming potentiometer and in 1999 we built up new factory in Zhao Qing, Guangdong. Now with around 850 workers, Kingtronics produce trimming potentiometers, dipped tantalum capacitors, multilayer ceramic capacitors, and diode & bridge rectifier. We sell good quality under our brand Kingtronics, and Kt, King, Kingtronics are our three trademarks. All our products are RoHS compliant, and our bridge rectifier have UL approval. Please visit our Products page, you could please download all our PDF datasheet and find cross reference for our Trimming Potentiometer and capacitors.
