1>Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are divided into three subfamilies by the type of electrolyte:
· Non-Solid (liquid, wet) aluminum electrolytic capacitors 
· Solid manganese dioxide aluminum electrolytic capacitors 
· Solid polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
